One of my favorite things about Christmas shopping are all the cosmetic gift sets and kits available. I love to gift my girlfriends with makeup kits, but I also like to try out a handful of products from a new-to-me brand - the values of these gift sets and kits are amazing!

I have been using the ELF Studio Lip Balm SPF15 in the shade Rose so often that I need to buy a few backups soon. I bought this on a whim at my local Target. I had never heard anything about this lip balm on youtube or blogs, so I thought I'd try it out and do my own little review on it.

A few months ago Beauty Online Supply had a Twitter chat and they gave followers a chance to win a goodie bag, well, I was lucky enough to win one.

When someone says the word “Mars” to you, you automatically think of 'Outer Space' correct? Well, you're obviously not alone.  When I first heard of the product line, my first thought was just that.  After speaking with Marlene Pryor, “The Nail Diva”, about her Spa Essentials line, I understood completely the whole “Mars” thing. 

I haven't heard much about the N.Y.C. Smooch Proof 16 hour Lip Stains, so I wanted to pick one up and see how the staying power is. This is a felt tip lip stain, it applies like a colored marker and dries to a semi-tacky finish, I experienced some drying, but no hydration at all - used without a balm underneath or on top.

I have a huge perfume collection, well, more like a collection of mini perfume samples, and I have been working hard to use them all up so I've been switching up scents every day.

This Saturday I attended a bridal shower and I wanted to try out a few new products to my collection. One of them was the Almay intense i-color smokey-i kit for browns, which has 3 shades; a shimmer copper-brown (used on the lid), a sheer shimmer plum (used in the crease), and a sheer shimmer beige (used on the inner corner and brow bone).

I got a sample of Neutrogena Visibly Bright Daily Facial Cleanser in my Target Spring Beauty Bag back in March.

Ever since Beauty Army exposed me to Indie Lee's The Body Scrub, I've been pretty obsessed with exfoliating my body - this is very new to me as I never really thought to exfoliate my entire body.

Well, I skipped on my July Beauty Army Kit, but my August selection window was pretty good, so I'm happy to be back with my monthly Beauty Army post.

This the first toner I have ever used, and to be completely honest, I had to look up what a toner is before I started using it. Toners help to balance your skins pH aka Potential Hydrogen.

I must admit, I never needed a night cream or moisturizer until I had children. Something changed my skin and now if I don't apply a night moisturizer, I wake up with dry, flaky, itchy skin.

On Wednesday afternoon of May 23rd I accompanied London Wright from Stylez4women on Glam’s ‘Things We Love’ Summer Sail cruise in NYC. I had a blast. Valis Vincenty form Glam rolled out the welcome mat and introduced herself to everyone.

I may or may not be in a toner phase this year (leaning more towards the "may"). How does one go from saying "isn't toner just water? Do you really need something like that?!" to saying "you should get a toner!

I'll be honest, when I first received this gloss I was not exactly excited to try it out. It looks frosted and not a shade I would personally choose. It sat for a month and when I had my makeup all packed up during my move in the beginning of the year I had this one unpacked and in my purse so I would start using it. Well, I feel pretty silly for letting it sit for so long, my assumptions were so incorrect. This gloss is so nice!

I received a sample size of Indie Lee The Body Scrub in myFebruary Beauty Army kit and I finally let myself use up the last bit of it, which I was hiding from BF because I was being soft-skin-greedy. I had never used a body scrub before getting this sample, and now I cannot imagine my shower routine without a body scrub.
